Overview

Ultra-Rapid-Acting Insulin Lispro (URAL) is a novel formulation of insulin lispro designed for ultra-rapid action. It was investigated in a clinical trial (NCT02206568) to compare its early pharmacokinetic exposure and total pharmacodynamic response with standard insulin lispro, and to assess its safety and tolerability in patients with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus. The clinical trial for this specific formulation was withdrawn.
