Overview

UltraMeal Plus 360 is a medical food formulated by Metagenics specifically designed for the dietary management of conditions associated with metabolic syndrome, including hyperlipidemia, hypertension, and insulin resistance. The product features a unique combination of soy protein and plant sterols (phytosterols) to support healthy lipid profiles, alongside proprietary Selective Kinase Response Modulators (SKRMs) in the form of rho iso-alpha acids (RIAA) derived from hops and proanthocyanidins (PACs) derived from grape seed. These SKRMs are intended to modulate insulin signaling pathways and inflammatory markers like NF-kappaB. Clinical studies have demonstrated that this combination, when used in conjunction with a low-glycemic-load diet, is more effective than diet alone in improving markers of cardiovascular risk and metabolic health.
