Umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (UC-MSCs) are multipotent stromal cells harvested from umbilical cord tissue, specifically Wharton's jelly. Developed by Fuzhou General Hospital for the treatment of central nervous system (CNS) injuries, these allogeneic cells are administered via intrathecal injection.
