An investigational allogenic cell therapy consisting of human umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells (hUC-MSCs) developed by Indonesia University (Universitas Indonesia) in collaboration with Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital. This biologic therapy is designed for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis and is administered via intra-articular injection, typically at a dose of 10 million cells. The therapy leverages the immunomodulatory and regenerative properties of mesenchymal stem cells to reduce joint inflammation and facilitate the repair of damaged articular cartilage. Clinical research has evaluated its efficacy both as a standalone treatment and when combined with other agents such as recombinant human growth hormone (somatotropin) or hyaluronic acid.
