UMN-0501

UMN-0501 is a novel pandemic influenza vaccine developed for the prevention of avian influenza, specifically targeting the H5N1 subtype. It is manufactured using cell culture technology and employs a recombinant protein approach via the Baculovirus Expression Vector System (BEVS), rather than traditional egg-based methods. The vaccine contains recombinant haemagglutinin (rHA) as its active component and functions as an immunostimulant to elicit protective immune responses against H5N1 avian influenza.
