Drug intelligence / Profile preview
UNDISCLOSED-3 is a preclinical therapeutic program being developed by Macomics, focusing on the modulation of macrophage-driven fibrotic processes. The program targets a specific pathway involved in macrophage-mediated extracellular matrix (ECM) degradation and the subsequent activation of myofibroblasts. By inhibiting these mechanisms, the drug aims to halt or reverse the progression of fibrotic diseases such as Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) and Non-Alcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH). As of early 2024, the program is in the discovery phase, leveraging Macomics' expertise in macrophage biology to develop either antibody or small molecule interventions.
