Overview

Orlance's Universal Influenza A DNA vaccine is a nucleic acid-based prophylactic designed to provide broad protection against multiple strains of the Influenza A virus. It utilizes the MACH-1 epidermal powdered gene gun platform, which delivers DNA-coated microparticles directly into the epidermal layer of the skin. This method is designed to trigger a robust immune response, including both humoral (antibody) and cellular (T-cell) immunity, by targeting the skin's rich population of antigen-presenting cells. The vaccine is currently in the IND-enabling phase of development.
