Drug intelligence / Profile preview
UNO101 is an ultra-high concentration nitric oxide (NO) therapy delivered intratumorally for the treatment of relapsed or refractory, unresectable solid tumors. It is a first-in-class investigational agent designed to ablate tumors and stimulate anti-tumor immune responses by modulating the tumor microenvironment. Preclinical studies and early-phase clinical trials have shown that UNO101 upregulates cytotoxic T-cells, central memory T-cells, and dendritic cells while downregulating regulatory T-cells within the tumor microenvironment. The therapy aims to induce local tumor destruction with systemic immune activation, potentially preventing relapse or metastatic disease after a single 5-minute treatment with limited toxicity[1][3][4].
