Drug intelligence / Profile preview
UP1007 is a small molecule targeted protein degrader (TPD) being developed by UPPthera for the treatment of central nervous system (CNS) and immune-mediated diseases. The drug is designed to selectively target and induce the degradation of an undisclosed inflammation-related protein by leveraging the ubiquitin-proteasome system. By eliminating the pathogenic protein rather than simply inhibiting its activity, UP1007 aims to provide a more robust therapeutic response in neuro-inflammatory and autoimmune conditions. As of early 2024, the program is in the lead optimization stage of preclinical development.
