Overview

UR-65318 is a preclinical-stage small molecule antagonist of the histamine H4 receptor (H4R), currently under development by Noucor Health. The histamine H4 receptor is a G protein-coupled receptor primarily expressed on cells of the immune system, including mast cells, eosinophils, dendritic cells, and T cells. It plays a critical role in mediating chemotaxis and the production of inflammatory cytokines. By selectively antagonizing H4R, UR-65318 is designed to modulate immune responses and inhibit the inflammatory cascade associated with allergic and autoimmune conditions. The program was originally part of the Uriach pipeline before the company's B2B business was rebranded as Noucor Health.
