urabrelimab

Urabrelimab (SRF231) is a fully human IgG4 monoclonal antibody that targets the cell surface antigen CD47. By blocking the interaction between CD47 and SIRPα, urabrelimab promotes macrophage-mediated phagocytosis of tumor cells, leading to potential antineoplastic effects. It was developed as an immune checkpoint inhibitor for hematological malignancies and solid tumors. The drug was originally developed by Surface Oncology, which has since been acquired by Coherus BioSciences[1][2][3]. Urabrelimab received orphan drug designation for multiple myeloma but its clinical development has been discontinued in both hematological malignancies and solid tumors after phase 1 trials[3][5].
