Uridine polyphosphate peptide (brand name Xidike) is an immunomodulatory biologic developed by Hefei Yongsheng Pharmaceutical. It is a complex mixture of uridine polyphosphates and peptides extracted from human urine. The drug is primarily used as an adjuvant therapy in combination with chemotherapy for patients with advanced breast cancer and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Its clinical utility lies in its ability to enhance the therapeutic efficacy of chemotherapeutic agents while simultaneously reducing hematological toxicities, such as leukopenia, and boosting the patient's immune function.
