Overview

Uriexo Control+ is an over-the-counter oral natural health product formulated to support urinary tract health and help prevent recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs). Developed by Tyros Biopharma, it is a once-daily capsule combining cranberry fruit extract (standardized to 36 mg of proanthocyanidins [PACs]) and 75 mg of Vitamin C. The cranberry PACs act by binding to P fimbriae (and potentially Type 1 fimbriae) on uropathogenic *Escherichia coli* (UPEC) bacteria, preventing bacterial adhesion to the uroepithelial lining of the urinary tract and facilitating their clearance. Vitamin C is included to provide antioxidant support and promote immune function.
