Overview

Uristat Plus is a combination nutraceutical product developed by Novogen Captab, specifically formulated to support urinary tract health and prevent recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs). The formulation contains Cranberry Extract (200 mg), Potassium Magnesium Citrate (978 mg), and D-Mannose (300 mg). D-Mannose and Cranberry proanthocyanidins act as anti-adhesion agents that bind to the fimbriae of pathogenic bacteria like *Escherichia coli*, preventing them from attaching to the bladder wall and facilitating their clearance through urination. Potassium Magnesium Citrate acts as a urinary alkalinizer, helping to maintain an optimal urinary pH and reducing the acidity that can contribute to bladder irritation and the formation of certain types of kidney stones.
