Overview
Uroacitide, marketed under the brand name Xidike, is a National Class 1.1 new drug developed by NT Pharma Group. It is a complex biologic extract derived from healthy human urine, consisting of a mixture of organic acids and peptides. Uroacitide is primarily used as an adjuvant therapy for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and hepatocellular carcinoma. Its mechanism of action involves inducing the differentiation of malignant cells into mature, non-proliferative cells and promoting apoptosis, thereby inhibiting tumor growth and metastasis. It was approved by the China National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) in 2005.
