Uropolypeptide is a non-cytotoxic biological agent derived from the fresh urine of healthy individuals. It is primarily used in combination chemotherapy for the treatment of advanced breast cancer and non-small cell lung cancer. The drug is composed of various natural active ingredients, including hippuric acid, phenacetylamino piperidinedione, phenylacetic acid, indoleacetic acid, phenacetylglutamine, indoleacetic acid, and small molecule peptides. Beyond its role in oncology, uropolypeptide has also shown potential in treating skin scars by modulating fibroblast activity.
