Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**USANA Vitamin D** is an oral dietary supplement manufactured by USANA that provides vitamin D3 and vitamin K. Each tablet contains 50 mcg of cholecalciferol and 30 mcg of vitamin K supplied as menaquinone-4 and menaquinone-7. Vitamin D3 is metabolically activated to calcitriol, which activates the vitamin D receptor to regulate calcium and phosphate homeostasis and support bone and tooth health. Vitamin K acts as a cofactor for gamma-glutamyl carboxylase, supporting activation of vitamin K-dependent proteins involved in calcium handling and coagulation. The product is intended as nutritional support and is not represented as a pharmaceutical treatment for disease. ([usana.com](https://www.usana.com/ux/cart/en-US/product/109-010102/vitamin-d))
