Overview

USCP119 is a botanical combination product consisting of a mixed extract of *Salvia miltiorrhiza* (Danshen) and *Paeonia lactiflora* (Peony). It is being investigated for its hypolipidemic and metabolic-regulating properties. In preclinical models, USCP119 has demonstrated the ability to reduce serum triglycerides, total cholesterol, and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, while also decreasing hepatic lipid accumulation and epididymal fat. Its mechanism of action involves the activation of the AMPK signaling pathway, which improves lipid metabolism and insulin sensitivity. It is primarily positioned as a potential dietary supplement or nutraceutical for the management of high-fat diet-induced hyperlipidemia and related metabolic disturbances.
