Overview

This is a **combination chemotherapy regimen** consisting of **utidelone**, **doxorubicin**, and **cyclophosphamide**. Utidelone is a novel epothilone analog microtubule inhibitor with antineoplastic activity, structurally and mechanistically similar to epothilone but investigational. Doxorubicin is an anthracycline topoisomerase II inhibitor, and cyclophosphamide is an alkylating agent. This combination is being evaluated as **neoadjuvant chemotherapy for high-risk, early-stage or locally advanced HER2-negative breast cancer**. Utidelone disrupts microtubule dynamics, doxorubicin intercalates DNA and inhibits topoisomerase II, and cyclophosphamide crosslinks DNA, collectively resulting in enhanced cytotoxicity against proliferating tumor cells[2][3][5].
