Overview

UTR-HER2-NSCLC-ex19del is an investigational RNA-based therapeutic being developed by UTR Therapeutics. It is designed to reduce or inhibit the expression of the Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2/ERBB2) by targeting the untranslated regions (UTRs) of the mRNA. This candidate is specifically tailored for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that is HER2-positive and carries an EGFR exon 19 deletion (ex19del) mutation. The drug is currently in the Pre-IND/IND-enabling stage of development, aiming to provide a targeted treatment option for this specific molecular subset of lung cancer by modulating protein expression at the translational level.
