Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Uvalysat Cranberry NEM is a multi-ingredient dietary supplement developed by Johannes Bürger Ysatfabrik GmbH (Ysat Bürger) to support urinary tract and bladder health. Each oral capsule contains 300 mg of cranberry extract, standardized to provide 18 mg of proanthocyanidins (PAC), and is supplemented with Vitamin C (48 mg) and Vitamin B3 (Niacin, 8 mg). The product is designed to reduce the risk of urinary tract infections through an anti-adhesive mechanism, where proanthocyanidins inhibit the attachment of bacteria, such as *Escherichia coli*, to the bladder epithelium. Additionally, Vitamin C and Vitamin B3 are included to support normal immune system function and the maintenance of healthy mucous membranes. The formulation is vegan, gluten-free, and lactose-free.
