Uvax-2129 is an investigational **recombinant protein nanoparticle vaccine** developed by **Uvax Bio** for prevention of **COVID-19**. It is built using the company\u2019s licensed **single component self-assembling protein nanoparticle 1c-SApNP technology** and is designed around the **SARS-CoV-2 spike protein** antigen. Preclinical reports described broad neutralizing antibody responses against the ancestral Wuhan strain and multiple variants including **alpha, beta, gamma, and delta**, supporting its use as a prophylactic antiviral vaccine candidate. A Phase 1 clinical trial was stated to be planned for the first half of 2022.
