Overview

UWD-04 is an allogeneic chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy currently in preclinical development by Wondercel Therapeutics. It is engineered to target Delta-like ligand 3 (DLL3), a protein that is highly and specifically expressed on the surface of small cell lung cancer (SCLC) cells but has minimal expression in normal tissues. As an allogeneic therapy, UWD-04 is derived from healthy donor cells, potentially offering an "off-the-shelf" treatment option that overcomes the manufacturing and timing limitations associated with autologous CAR-T therapies.
