Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**UWN2D CAR-T** is an investigational NKG2D chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy designed to target NKG2D ligands expressed on stressed or malignant cells. It redirects patient-derived T cells to recognize and eliminate tumor cells via the NKG2D receptor domain, which binds multiple stress-induced ligands such as MICA, MICB, and ULBPs, enabling broad antitumor activity independent of MHC presentation. Developed for oncology applications, it is being evaluated in a phase 1 pilot study for recurrent cancers.
