Overview

V0114CP is a small molecule H1 receptor antagonist developed by Pierre Fabre Médicament for the treatment of allergic rhinitis. It was investigated in Phase 3 clinical trials as a 2.5 mg oral tablet formulation for both seasonal allergic rhinitis (SAR) and perennial allergic rhinitis (PAR). In these studies, V0114CP was benchmarked against desloratadine 5 mg and placebo to evaluate its efficacy in reducing symptoms such as nasal congestion, sneezing, and itching. Although the drug completed Phase 3 testing in the early 2010s, no regulatory approvals have been granted, and the program is currently considered discontinued.
