Overview

V3-Myoma is an orally administered therapeutic vaccine developed as an immunostimulant for the treatment of uterine fibroids (myomas). Upon administration, it is designed to stimulate the immune system, specifically inducing a cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-mediated response against cells expressing myoma-associated antigens. This immune activation may reduce the growth of myomas and improve related symptoms. V3-Myoma is classified as both an inactivated vaccine and a therapeutic vaccine, with its mechanism of action based on general immunostimulation rather than targeting specific molecular pathways. The drug was initially developed by Immunitor and has been investigated in clinical trials for uterine fibroids[1][2].
