Drug intelligence / Profile preview
V3G CH848 Pr-NP1 is an investigational prophylactic HIV-1 vaccine prime immunogen developed by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. It is a ferritin nanoparticle displaying eight copies of a native-like HIV-1 envelope trimer designed to initiate B-cell responses that can mature into V3-glycan-specific broadly neutralizing antibodies against HIV-1. It is being evaluated in a first-in-human Phase 1 prime-boost study in adults without HIV, with later boosting by the distinct mRNA-LNP immunogen V3G CH848 mRNA-Tr2.
