Drug intelligence / Profile preview
VA-610 is a dual-payload antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Sutro Biopharma in collaboration with Velo-CT. It is designed to target CD70 (Cluster of Differentiation 70), a protein frequently overexpressed in various solid and hematologic malignancies, including renal cell carcinoma (RCC) and certain lymphomas. Engineered using Sutro's proprietary XpressCF cell-free protein synthesis platform, VA-610 features the site-specific conjugation of two distinct cytotoxic payloads with different mechanisms of action onto a single antibody. This dual-payload strategy is intended to enhance therapeutic efficacy and mitigate the development of drug resistance by delivering a synergistic combination of toxins directly to target-expressing tumor cells.
