Drug intelligence / Profile preview
VAC-XS15-PC01 is an investigational prostate cancer-specific multi-peptide therapeutic vaccine developed by the University Hospital Tübingen. It is composed of 10 HLA-restricted antigens comprising immunopeptidome-defined prostate cancer-associated epitopes, adjuvanted with the Toll-like receptor 1/2 (TLR1/2) ligand XS15 emulsified in Montanide ISA 51 VG. The vaccine is designed to induce tumor-specific T-cell immune responses targeting human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-presented peptides on the tumor cell surface. It is being evaluated in the ImmProCure Phase II clinical trial for patients with biochemical recurrence of prostate cancer after local therapy with curative intent, both as a monotherapy and in combination with the bispecific PSMAxCD3 antibody CC-1.
