Drug intelligence / Profile preview
VAC85135 is an investigational off-the-shelf **heterologous prime-boost viral-vector cancer vaccine** developed from Nouscom's viral-vector platform. It uses adenoviral and vaccinia vectors encoding polypeptides derived from mutant calreticulin and the JAK2 V617F mutation to induce neoantigen-specific antitumor T-cell responses against malignant cells in mutation-positive myeloproliferative neoplasms. It was evaluated by intramuscular administration in a Phase 1 study with ipilimumab in myelofibrosis and essential thrombocythemia; reported results showed limited and generally delayed immunogenicity, no disease-modifying clinical responses, and no plan for further development in myeloproliferative neoplasms.
