Drug intelligence / Profile preview
The VaccHemInf Vaccination Regimen refers to a standardized post-transplant immunization protocol evaluated by Hospices Civils de Lyon in the VaccHemInf clinical trial (NCT03851328). This regimen is designed for adult hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT) recipients who experience profound immune suppression and loss of protective immunity following cellular therapy. The protocol involves the administration of a suite of recommended vaccines, including those targeting *Streptococcus pneumoniae* (pneumococcal), *Clostridium tetani* (tetanus), *Corynebacterium diphtheriae* (diphtheria), *Haemophilus influenzae* type B (Hib), Hepatitis B virus (HBV), and Influenza virus. The primary objective of the regimen is to restore protective antibody titers and reduce morbidity and mortality associated with vaccine-preventable infections in this highly vulnerable population.
