Drug intelligence / Profile preview
OCULOXIN is a standardized botanical dietary supplement complex developed by the Polish company Greenvit. It contains a specific 2:1:1 ratio of extracts from bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus), chokeberry (Aronia melanocarpa), and honeysuckle berry (Lonicera caerulea). The formulation is standardized to contain at least 25% anthocyanins and 4.5% iridoids, which are polyphenolic compounds known for their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. OCULOXIN is primarily targeted at supporting visual health, with clinical studies demonstrating its efficacy in improving near visual acuity and contrast sensitivity in individuals with presbyopia. It is also investigated for its potential benefits in addressing digital eye strain, eye fatigue (asthenopia), and early-stage diabetic retinopathy.
