Valsartan + Mudan Granules is a combination therapy consisting of valsartan, a small molecule angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), and Mudan Granules, a traditional Chinese medicine formulation. Valsartan selectively blocks the angiotensin II type 1 (AT1) receptor, leading to vasodilation and reduced blood pressure without affecting heart rate.
