VANADIS-04

VANADIS-04 is a topical spray formulation of the organovanadium small molecule bis(maltolato)oxidovanadium(IV) (BMOV), developed by CFM Pharma for the treatment of burn wounds and surgical applications. It functions via a multi-pathway protective mechanism that mitigates inflammation, oxidative stress, and apoptosis in traumatized tissues. By preserving healthy cells and stimulating the repair of damaged tissue, it has shown potential in preclinical models to reduce tissue damage in deep dermal burns by up to 90%. While other variants of the VANADIS platform are administered intravenously for cardiovascular and renal indications, VANADIS-04 is specifically optimized as a topical spray for localized wound care and tissue regeneration.
