Overview

VAX-LNP is an inhaled lipid nanoparticle (LNP)-based vaccine candidate under development by InhaTarget Therapeutics. It is designed to target antigen-presenting cells, specifically macrophages, in the lung to enhance immune priming and elicit a robust localized immune response. The candidate is being investigated at the research stage for the prevention of infectious lung diseases, including influenza (flu) and COVID-19, as well as for animal health indications.
