VaxcoTeii (also known as COVID-away Nasal Spray) is a peptide-based intranasal spray developed by Youfeng Biotechnology (YoufengBio). It utilizes the proprietary Ii-Key peptide technology, which is designed to enhance the presentation of antigens to the immune system by modulating MHC class II molecules. Specifically, the Ii-Key peptide (a segment of the invariant chain) facilitates the charging of antigenic peptides into the MHC class II binding groove, thereby boosting CD4+ T-cell mediated immune responses. The product is intended for the prevention and treatment of COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) and has reported antibacterial activity against *Escherichia coli* and *Staphylococcus aureus*. It is administered intranasally and is positioned as both an antiviral and an antibacterial agent.
