Drug intelligence / Profile preview
VB10.2210 is a novel SARS-CoV-2 vaccine candidate designed to induce broad and strong T cell responses, particularly dominated by killer CD8 T cells, against both Spike and non-Spike antigens of the virus. It encodes 96 clinically validated T cell epitopes spanning eight SARS-CoV-2 proteins, including Spike, Membrane Glycoprotein (M), Nucleocapsid Protein (N), Orf1ab+Orf3+Orf10, and Orf7. The vaccine is intended to provide protection that remains effective across variants of concern due to its targeting of highly conserved non-Spike epitopes less affected by mutational drift[2][4][6]. VB10.2210 uses Nykode Therapeutics’ Vaccibody™ technology platform for antigen presentation.
