Drug intelligence / Profile preview
VB10.NEO is a proprietary, fully individualized DNA-based neoantigen cancer vaccine developed for the treatment of locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors. The vaccine is designed to be produced on-demand according to the unique neoantigen profile of each patient’s tumor. Neoantigens are proteins generated by tumor-specific mutations that are not present in normal tissues and can be recognized as foreign by the immune system, making them attractive targets for immunotherapy. VB10.NEO leverages Nykode Therapeutics’ APC-targeted Vaccibody platform to induce broad and long-lasting CD8+ T cell responses against patient-specific tumor antigens. Clinical studies have shown that it elicits robust, polyfunctional T cell responses in both high and low tumor mutational burden cancers, with most patients developing durable immune responses and favorable safety profiles when used alone or in combination with checkpoint inhibitors such as atezolizumab[1][3][5][7][9].
