VBT-34 is a preclinical small molecule compound being developed by Vortex Biotechnology Corporation for the treatment of hematological and solid tumors. Administered orally, the drug acts as a stimulator of RNA degradation through a novel mechanism that involves inhibiting the formation of the EDC3:Pim1/3 complex. This inhibition modulates RNA half-life and promotes the degradation of oncogenic RNAs within cancer cells.
