VCAM-1+MSC Injection (also known as CD106+MSC) is an off-the-shelf, perinatal tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) therapy being developed by H&B France (Health-Biotech JISHI). The therapy consists of MSCs selected for or overexpressing vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1/CD106), a cell surface protein that plays a critical role in cell-cell adhesion, homing, and immunosuppression. By utilizing VCAM-1-expressing MSCs, the therapy aims to enhance therapeutic potency, vascular regeneration, and anti-inflammatory effects. VCAM-1+MSC Injection is currently in Phase 1/2 clinical development for the treatment of critical limb ischemia and ischemic stroke.
