Overview

VDJ-002 is an investigational recombinant humanized CTLA-4-Fc fusion protein being developed as an immunomodulatory biologic, with early clinical evaluation in healthy volunteers to characterize safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics. As a CTLA-4-Fc fusion, it is designed to bind B7 family ligands (CD80/CD86) on antigen-presenting cells, enhancing inhibitory signaling and reducing T‑cell activation, thereby exerting a systemic immunosuppressive effect. The program is sponsored by Beijing VDJBio (also associated with Beijing Weidejie Biotechnology), and is currently in first-in-human phase 1 dose-escalation studies, with therapeutic indications not yet publicly specified.[16][18][19][14]
