Overview

Vebecototumab (MW032) is a humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody that targets **B7-H3** (CD276), a transmembrane protein belonging to the B7 family of immune checkpoint molecules. B7-H3 is frequently overexpressed in various solid tumors, including high-grade gliomas, and is associated with tumor progression, immune evasion, and poor prognosis. By binding specifically to B7-H3, vebecototumab aims to inhibit tumor growth and potentially enhance anti-tumor immune responses by blocking inhibitory signals to T-cells or mediating antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC). Developed by **Mabwell (Shanghai) Bioscience**, it is currently being evaluated in Phase 2 clinical trials in China, notably in combination with bevacizumab and re-radiotherapy for the treatment of recurrent high-grade gliomas (WHO grade III-IV).
