VEDA-1209

VEDA-1209 is a specific, potent, orally available small-molecule activator of the Nrf2 (nuclear factor erythroid 2–related factor 2) antioxidant and cytoprotective pathway being developed by Cureveda for multiple autoimmune, inflammatory, fibrotic, and neurodegenerative indications.[1][4] By enhancing Nrf2 signaling, VEDA-1209 is designed to upregulate endogenous antioxidant and detoxification genes and suppress inflammation-related tissue injury, with preclinical development focused on diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), ulcerative colitis, scleroderma, and other conditions characterized by oxidative stress, fibrosis, and chronic inflammation.[1][3][4][5][10]
