Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Vedab-H (also marketed as Vedab-H Forte) is a veterinary multivitamin supplement developed and manufactured by Sarabhai Chemicals and Lemantus Pharmaceuticals. It is formulated as an oral liquid feed supplement or an intramuscular injection containing a potent blend of essential fat-soluble vitamins: Vitamin A, Vitamin D3, Vitamin E, and Biotin (Vitamin H). Vedab-H is indicated for livestock and small animals to prevent and treat vitamin deficiencies, relieve environmental or physiological stress, promote growth, enhance fertility, and boost milk production. The active components work synergistically: Vitamin A supports vision, immunity, and skin health; Vitamin D3 regulates calcium and phosphorus homeostasis via the Vitamin D receptor to prevent rickets and osteomalacia; Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant to reduce oxidative stress and support reproductive health; and Biotin serves as a crucial coenzyme for metabolic pathways, promoting hoof strength and energy production.
