Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Vedicinals®9 is a polyherbal nutraceutical formulation containing nine bioactive plant-derived molecules: Baicalin, Quercetin, Luteolin, Rutin, Hesperidin, Curcumin (from turmeric), Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), Piperine, and Glycyrrhizin. It is supplemented with vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid), D3, E (D-alpha tocopherol oil), B1/B2/B5/B6/B12 complex, zinc, selenium, coconut oil and olive oil. The product is designed to provide anti-inflammatory and antioxidant support while promoting immune health. It acts by downregulating pro-inflammatory cytokines (e.g., TNF-α) and oxidative stress markers, inhibiting cancer cell proliferation/migration in vitro, and modulating host cellular pathways disrupted by viral infections such as SARS-CoV-2. It has been studied in clinical trials for COVID-19 as an adjuvant therapy showing improved recovery rates compared to standard care. The formulation is vegan-friendly and manufactured under stringent quality standards.
