Overview

Velinotamig is a recombinant humanized bispecific antibody that simultaneously binds to B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) and CD3, functioning as a bispecific T cell engager (TCE). By targeting BCMA on tumor cells and CD3 on T lymphocytes, it redirects and stimulates cytotoxic T cells to eliminate BCMA-expressing cells. Velinotamig has shown significant efficacy in Phase 2 studies for relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma and is being investigated for autoimmune diseases. It was initially developed by Genrix (Shanghai) Biopharmaceuticals (also known as Chongqing Genrix BioPharmaceutical) and out-licensed ex-Greater China to Cullinan Therapeutics for worldwide development in various indications, including oncology and autoimmunity.
