veltuzumab + milatuzumab

Veltuzumab + milatuzumab is a combination of two humanized monoclonal antibodies developed by Immunomedics for the treatment of B-cell malignancies, particularly relapsed or refractory non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Veltuzumab targets CD20, a surface antigen expressed on B cells, and acts through mechanisms such as complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC) and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC). Milatuzumab targets CD74, an invariant chain associated with HLA class II molecules on antigen-presenting cells including B cells and dendritic cells. The combination has demonstrated anti-tumor activity in preclinical models and clinical trials by enhancing apoptosis and disrupting survival pathways in malignant B cells. Clinical studies have shown that this regimen is active in heavily pre-treated patients with indolent non-Hodgkin lymphoma, including those refractory to rituximab[1][2][3][5].
