Venowest

Venowest is a micronized vascular protective combination product developed by Western Pharmaceutical Industries. It features a "triple power" formula containing diosmin (450 mg), hesperidin (50 mg), and vitamin C (ascorbic acid, 100 mg). The drug is primarily indicated for the treatment of venous disorders, including chronic venous disease (CVD) and hemorrhoids. As a phlebotonic and vasoprotective agent, Venowest works by increasing venous tone and improving microcirculation. The flavonoid components, diosmin and hesperidin, prolong the vasoconstrictive activity of norepinephrine on the vessel walls and improve lymphatic drainage, while vitamin C supports vascular integrity as a cofactor for collagen synthesis and provides antioxidant protection to the endothelium.
