Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Venquis Therapeutics is developing an undisclosed small molecule protein degrader for the treatment of inflammatory diseases. This program utilizes the company's proprietary Chemically Induced Protein Degrader (CIPD) platform, which is designed to create direct protein degraders. Unlike traditional PROTACs or molecular glues, CIPD molecules are intended to be mutant-selective, sparing wild-type proteins to potentially improve the safety profile and reduce off-target toxicity. The program is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
