Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Verasone** is Diceros Therapeutics' investigational, proprietary fixed-dose aqueous suspension of **verapamil + mometasone** for high-volume sinonasal irrigation in chronic rhinosinusitis. Mometasone is a glucocorticoid receptor agonist that suppresses sinonasal inflammation, while verapamil is an L-type calcium-channel blocker that also inhibits P-glycoprotein, with the intended effect of improving intracellular retention and anti-inflammatory activity of mometasone in sinonasal epithelial tissue. The product completed a Phase 1 single- and multiple-ascending-dose study in healthy participants.
